Australia are playing a ODI series against India at the moment, when I got to the pub and they have it on Foxtel I ask them to switch over to the England game as it is nice to see a side win for a change.

Stokes clearly needs a brain transplant, has the cricketing world at his feet and decides to piss it up the wall.

I hope when Strauss get hold of him the full hairdryer treatment is used.

Wheel win anyway, once the Universe Boss goes they crumble.

As a non lover of T20, I was surprised how much I enjoyed this. "Oh, I've got a brand newcombine harvester"

West Indies 174-4 (30 overs), Evin Lewis 83*

They seem to be making a decent fist of this innings after a poor start.

39.4 Plunkett to Lewis, SIX just has the legs for six! Top edge from a short ball, looked to have straight up initially but it kept carrying towards the long leg boundary and evades Rashid.
39.4 Plunkett to Lewis, SIX that's a brilliant shot. A dismissive drive straight down the ground from a perfectly respectable good-length delivery

West Indies 225-4 (40 overs), Lewis 121* Holder 32*

10 to go... looks like they will set a decent total for England to chase.

40.5 Rashid to Lewis, SIX, much more in control of this one! Down the pitch again, lofts it high towards deep midwicket, wide of the fielder, and it goes into the boundary-marker on the full
40.6 Rashid to Lewis, FOUR, this scoots away fine, goes back to cut and gets a bottom edge into Buttler's knee and it scuttles away...expensive over
41.2 Ali to Holder, SIX, a thunderous straight blow by Holder this time, a skimming drive, and another one pitches straight into the boundary marker
41.5 Ali to Holder, SIX, that's a long way back! Skips down the track and it's a mighty clean strike over wide long-on. Taking advantage of the spinners

Holder and Lewis cutting loose here... 30 from 2 overs... 255-4 (42 overs)

and another 15 off Woakes...

42.3 Woakes to Lewis, SIX, terrific shot! Short ball from Woakes, Lewis whips through a pull shot and sends it skimming over deep square leg
42.6 Woakes to Holder, SIX, another crowd catch! What a way to reach his fifty...off 47 balls. Gives himself a touch of room and lofts a good-length delivery over long-on. A punch of the air by the captain

270-4 (43 overs)... this is going to be massive

43.2 Ali to Lewis, SIX, and that's his 150 with a slog sweep, goes down on his back knee and comfortably clears the boundary...a new career-best, 26 balls for the third fifty

Evin Lewis 153* (120 balls, 16 fours, 5 sixes) :clap2:
