Iver child bollards aim to deter speeding outside schools
Bollards shaped like children are being used as a speeding deterrent outside primary schools, but some locals have called them "hideous".
The bollards, which were installed at Iver infants and juniors in Buckinghamshire during the summer holidays, have split local residents' opinions.

Think I'd be more likely to speed up than slow down if I found one of these in-front of my car to be honest.

We have something similar in Southampton, but they resemble the Stepford Children - spooky, very spooky.

I thought that someone is going to be so freaked and swerve them, agree also they are very chucky like

I saw some of those in Nottingham last season. Funny looking things but I guess if they work then all well and good.
