Not long until the crowd cut-throating hand signs, and fans offering fights to players I guess.

Should the Premier League prove too much for the Albion it will be a huge and entertaining consolation if Palace implode in spectacular fashion.

They always wangle their way out of it though, we have this every season.

I don't understand how his job can be at risk. Surely he laid out his plans for the style of play that he wanted to use in his interview? If so the Palace board are naive to the point of negligent to think that he could change the style so drastically with immediate success. If he didn't lay out his plans for the squad he is useless and the board should also walk for not asking the right questions before appointing him.

I suspect that he is just going to be another fall guy for the ineptitude of Prince Charming and his merry bunch of *****.

Because things were so great under Big Sam that they lost four of their last five games last season.

Strange one, would expect nothing will happen until the October international break at the earliest. To consider sacking a new manager after 3 PL games and 1 League Cup tie is just silly.

But some people are saying that their next game (away at Burnley) is a must win game of the axe will fall.

Fun looking into the madhouse from here though

Didn't palace once sack their manager after a series of pre-season losses - before the season even started?

Allardyce won't go back, he stated that he had decided to retire and needed time with his wife and family, also he planned to go traveling with his wife. He would look a bit of a tw@t if he he returned to football now and especially if it was to Palace.
