I got a 'best of Bryan Adams' as a christmas present in 1989 or 90(or possibly 91...). It was one part of a double whammy present from my parents, the other whammy being my first ever radio/cassette player. For that reason I am going to say:

Cool.

Edit: just googled it. It was 93. Disappointing.

I tend to put him in the same ,denim clad, category as Bruce Springsteen and status quo , very uncool

Seen him live twice and very much enjoyed it both times.

Very good live performer, couldn't care less if he's considered cool or not.

Was about to say the same thing - who cares if he's cool or not? If you like an act then that's all you need to worry about.

Saw him twice as well back in the 90s. Great performer and thoroughly enjoyed the gigs, but not in the same class as Springsteen.

He used to do that thing where he appears on a second stage towards the back of the venue for a few tracks, don' t know if he still does though.

Echo this sentiment. The support when I saw him were T'Pau and they too were a surprisingly fine live act.

True fact: 'Summer of 69' only ever reached #42 in the UK charts.

True fact: In the song, '69' doesn't refer to 1969, but to the sexual position.
