Saw the forked lightning in Newhaven & heard the thunder about 20 seconds later, but no rain. It's still rumbling around now.

Followed me all the way from Lewes to Paddock Wood where I lost it.
Rachel didn't mention it on the South East news either. Kept talking about a warm. muggy night while all hell was breaking loose outside ... bizarre

Driving back from the match last night we saw a massive lightning flash split the sky from west to east around Burgess Hill - incredible sight

I just got home to the Heath about 10-55 and saw a flash of light followed by thunder and was little bit surprised as it wasn't in the weather forecast.
However after the game just made it to the coach and the heavens opened at the last dozen on the coach got soaked.
