Just wanted to say we had one of our best aways ever with you guys on Saturday. Wife and I have travelled all over the UK and Europe but never felt more welcome than we did here. More so after the game. We swerved the away end concourse afterwards and made our way to the home fans end for a beer. Despite wearing City tops we had no bother and spoke to so many passionate fans who weren't taking anything for granted and were thankful for where they were. After moving from concourse to concourse (about 3 different bars!!!) we ended up in Dicks' bar which again was great chatting to the home fans.

Back into the centre with a a few home fans and into the Railway Bell. Despite it being a no go before the game, we had no bother and again got chatting to fans who were actually pleased we had made the effort to mingle.

Last train to Crawley was made with another home fan running to the off licence for 4 fans of Fosters and who refused to drink alone.

Thanks for a great night with great fans from a great stadium.

Appreciate you would have come across some of our idiots at various stages - apologies for their behaviour, they've probably not seen the sea before.

Best of luck for the season.

Cheers for that, at least you have the SOH to accept that all clubs have buffoons.
When we play you at the Etihad, you can park the bus and we'll be all out attacking:thumbsup::wink:

Glad you enjoyed your day, appreciate the praise. Quick question: Seemed a load of city fans on twitter who were very precious and angry despite the positive result, mistaking the shouts of "WHO?" when your multi-million subs came on for boos (though even if we had jeered, that's football? ???) Granted some booed Danilo mistaking him for Jesus after the handball
Clearly you are level headed enough to realise every club has idiots and those who are clueless in some form, but my real question is in your experience of PL football, do the fans seem a little more tame, more sensitive? Appeared they were all happy to give it large to the easy target of a newly promoted side with fans who are grateful to be in this position more than anything, but furious at any mild abuse or banter aimed at them.
