To celebrate Albion’s first game in the Premier League, the Collectors’ and Historian’s Society has produced another in its series of traditional “first day” postal covers to mark special events and anniversaries.

Issued as a limited edition of just 1,000, the envelope has a colour picture of the promotion celebration on Hove Lawns from last May and bears a first-class stamp that will be specially hand-franked with the match date. A numbered card insert has the details and story of last season, and the two together are presented in a cellophane wrapper.

This souvenir of Albion’s historic match will be available from selected programme sellers on Saturday for £3 – but hurry, there are just 1,000 of them. All proceeds go towards the funds of the Society which looks to preserve and promote the history of the club.
