I can't see Hughton messing around with formations too much, he didn't during the preseason games, so it'll probably be a 4-4-1-1......

I think it might be a bit too soon to see Propper start so Sidwell gets the spot alongside Stephens in Kayal's absence. Rosenior can cover both full back positions so he gets the nod in front of Bong on the bench.

Propper will start for me, he has has a full pre season so don't see why not. Otherwise as you have picked

Propper for Kayal if he can't play, but we're going to need the numbers in midfield because City are going to play Fernandinho or Yaya Toure as the lone shield in midfield. They'll definitely have Silva, De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Sane/Sterling, Jesus and Agüero in the team. It's going to be top heavy with attacking players plus Danilo and Walker at full back!

We'll need to have Sidwell's movement, Kayal's bite and Stephens' intelligence in the centre of midfield because the movement is going to be like we've never seen before. For the people in the Upper tiers, it's going to be incredible to watch.

I'd say Propper will be starting. We'll go 4-4-1-1, the Atleti friendly would have been arranged with City in mind
