I am playing the Strathtyrum course at St Andrews next week. Has anybody else played it. Any tips.?

I don't think it is being streamed live on Seagulls TV, but you might be lucky..

Also at the Military tattoo at Edinburgh Castle on Monday and catching a couple of shows in the fringe. Should be a great week, the back to watch the historic victory over Citeh.

Anyone else up for the festival this year.?

I played the New Course about 10 years ago and it was certainly a challenge. Very busy town obviously but steeped in golfing history. If you get the time though I can recommend the Golf House Club at Earlsferry which isn't that far away. Nothing to look at but with the wind coming in off the sea it's a tremendous test of your iron skills.

7th best course at St Andrews Links. Enjoy it's a great town.
