The Stockdale save at Brentford away last season.
Not just because of the fab save,
but getting a buzz out of hearing the sound of a thousand bees being silenced in the Ealing Rd end.

Gary McAllister missing from the spot for the Monkey Tennis XI against England in Euro 96 was funny. More so when Gazza stuck one past their keeper a minute or so later.

Stockdale's double save from Forestieri. World class

That was MASSIVE.

All 3 of Stockers saves in January/ Febuary were so important, all came at important times in games, :albion2: Without those saves, the season may have had a very different outcome.

Favourite miss for comic reasons was Robert Codner's against Bristol Rovers away at Twerton Park in '91.

It was such a pathetic mis-kick and so weak that it almost didn't reach the goal-line and their keeper (was it Nigel Martin?) collected it safely as it trickled toward him in the centre of the goal.

Peter O'Sullivan's at Aldershot, Easter Saturday 1976. Even if there had been a steep slope and a following wind in its favour it still wouldn't have reached the goal. I think we knew that this was the end of our promotion hopes, after the defeat at Millwalll the day before.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Geoff Thomas missing one for Palace when 6-0 down at Anfield.

Liam Lawrence missing against Casper Ankergren in the 93rd minute at Fratton Park with us 1-0 up.

He hit the post, then Casper saved the follow up shot. Marvellous scenes.

Ben Robert's save with his forearm, against Swindon in 2004.
