The Large One
Who's Next?
BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION.
That gargantuan pillar of the community, Brighton & Hove Albion is 116 years old today.
From its humblest beginnings in an upstairs room above the Seven Stars pub in Ship Street, in 1901, it's had plenty of ups and downs in its time, success, glory, failure and misery in abundant measure. And to think we nearly lost the old timer aged 94, the fans thankfully nursed it back to health, and now is probably in the best shape it has EVER been.
So raise a glass and wish 'Many Happy Returns' to Brighton & Hove Albion. Cheers.
