Appleton to Leicester as number 2?

Have to say this one comes as a bit of a surprise to me. I've watched Oxford a fair bit the past two seasons and they're a decent team that have improved their league standing significantly. Not beyond the realms of possibility that he could be back at the Kassam in the opposite dugout as a number 2 the year after this. Obviously there are financial pulls and working in the PL is a big deal, but I reckon it must be pretty galling in professional terms to go from running the show to playing second fiddle to someone else. I wonder if Nathan Jones is in the running to replace him; would seem a reasonable move for all parties.
