As soon as I saw this I thought Waterloo Road.

Just looked at online reviews and most descriptions bear that out as "Waterloo Road meets Shameless". Seems they had to re-write some of the scenes in light of the Manchester bomb as one of the students has a fake bomb vest strapped to him in the original shooting.

Don't think I'll watch the other five programmes in the series.

It reminded me of Teachers. but then i've never ever seen a whole episode of Waterloo Road.
The acting , of the kids especially, was vg.

Caught the last half hour of it and seemed ok. Might watch the whole episode again and pass judgement.

Plus, an annoying child got punched in the face by a teacher, what's not to like.

My first thought when I saw it advertised was the ever-awful 'Waterloo Road'. And it was mostly borne out when the show was on last night. I'd say completely but I can't remember bits of it as I was doing something else at the time
