Oh mighty north stand chat, may I seek your help on some random thing AGAIN.

Looking to buy a good sturdy filing cabinet to try and organise my wife and my general every day paper work. Where is good to go, any ones to avoid etc. Budget £100 to £150, Help Appreciated.

Paperwork - What's that?? - Banking statements utility bills etc are held online - Scan the rest to your computer and backup - £150 saved plus space saved

I'm a bit of a technological dinosaur too Badger. Have your tried Rymans?

Staples are good.......

We've got something like this - http://www.staples.co.uk/filing-cab...ind_Number=223349795&m=0&isSubscription=False

Easily big enough for all relevant household stuff, although we don't keep tons of old bills etc and the amount we get is reducing these days with more and more (bank statements, utility bills etc) being online - got a home shredder as well so get rid of a lot too. If you use the hanging files everything is easy to label and stays neat

2-Drawer : You'll get this for £29 I reckon, just put a bid in : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BISLEY-fILING-CABINET-/132210274592?hash=item1ec858b120:g:5lkAAOSwfpVZLcKC

4-Drawer : Trade Seller so £90, but you'll be able to haggle if you collect and pay cash no doubt : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Filing-ca...518688?hash=item2a8277d860:g:7LwAAOSwrhBZGyVV

Bisley are decent. I've got about ten of them in and around my office and warehouse.

I wouldn't buy new. Clean, secondhand - and you'll get a decent one for buttons.
