Wolves are expected to confirm that they have dismissed their head coach Paul Lambert, reports BBC WM.

Lambert's role has been in doubt since the end of the Championship season over a dispute about who has the final say on signing players at Molineux.

Wolves' Chinese owners Fosun are reported to have a manager lined up to take over from the 47-year-old

This is just crazy and it seems to get worse in the Championship. A bunch of know f'ck all owners sacking managers for fun. I'm not a Lambert fan but he has pedigree for this division. It's just crazy what is happening in the league right now. It's all instant, instant, instant. Do none of them realise that giving a manager time actually works? Ipswich would be in League Two right now if it weren't for McCarthy.

The only thing you can say parochially is that TB clearly has a more patient stance than foreign owners that has served us well, gives us an advantage over the hire 'em fire 'em owners.

there was a link somewhere that suggested that the owners had asked an Agent to find their next manager! If so that is a whole new level of shiteness.

Obviously been working on Santos long before Lambert sacked. Probably waited until he said yes before giving Lambert the push.
No loyalty.
