A dead rubber (always wanted to post that phrase) as England can't be beaten.

I'm guessing Stokes will be rested, presumably Roland-Jones will slot in as the all-rounder?

Liam Dawson has also been called up (as has Finn) so he will take the Ali spin / all rounder roll. S.A. will win this one for me as our replacements weaken the team considerably. The champions trophy is more important so fair enough.

Didn't realise Ali also has picked up an injury (he never seems to do anything that would attract one!) so would be good to see Finn aiming some short ones at the Saffer batsmen, a few bruised fingers and ribs would be a good way of them starting the Champions Trophy... :lolol:

Ali is being rested rather than injured I think

If this original thread had been followed we would not have been 20-6.

Why do our professional sportsmen decide to switch off once they have won a competition?

The Aussies wouldn't dream about taking their foot off our necks...

Seeing as we won't win perhaps a few short balls at the head?
