Haven't seen a thread on this so far.

Loving the new series. The first incarnation was kooky, odd and a bit camp, yet achieved cult status nonetheless.
'The Return' though is outright freakish horror tv and it's bloody weird but compelling.

I appreciate it won't be everyone's thing so feel free to skip over this thread and not comment !

Finished episode 4 about an hour ago. Still have no idea what's going on but apparently watching Fire Walk With Me again will help with clues, so I'm literally about to start watching that again tonight

Loving it even if it's hard to define precisely why. The first two episodes felt more Grandmother/Eraserhead type Lynch than Twin Peaks of old but that's fine by me.

Just for info, there are indeed a few clues in the first 20 mins of the movie.

Miasmic and discombobulating.

I popped along to the cinema to watch 'Mulholland Drive' a few weeks ago, similar feel. A vague narrative providing a loose framework for a mood piece. Effectively 'jazz'.

Season 3 done and dusted. Astoundingly bizarre television, and still left unresolved in many aspects! Hoping for a 4th season, but surely not another 25 year wait!
