And Bournemouth aren't stopping there.
Diony from Dijon at 120K a week
And more in the pipeline.

They must have more money than Chelsea and Man City combined.

how, just how can they do this?, what's their gate? pretty small, can't see tens of thousands of replica shirts being sold so how do they balance the books with FFP?

Fcking plucky turds. Bournemouth annoy me almost as much as the Nigels.

You have it all wrong surely....This is 'Plucky little' Bournemouth we are talking about.. Eddie Howe is working miracles on a 'Shoe-string' budget!

£130k a week is £20m in three years. If Bournemouth had bought someone for £10m and paid him £65k a week would anyone have even noticed? Yet it's the same outlay.

Like it or not, £6.5m a year for a goalscorer is loose change for any team that has had three seasons of EPL money. In fact it's cheap. I'm no fan of Bournemouth but this is undoubtedly a good deal for them financially.

You assume he doesn't have a £20mil signing on fee...

Never heard that since the embargo days, we do however have one of the lowest wage structures in the Premier league.

You lot need to get with this money business or you'll either do a Boro or have a coronary when you do splash out :lolol:

You seriously think we'd almost doubled his wages from Sunderland ?

I'd wager £65K as reported by the Telegraph and Sky..he'll have his relegation clause and we will have the 2 year clause...signing on fee -none of us have a scooby.

It's dead money though is the issue really, won't see a penny of it back. And that's if Defoe is lucky enough not to get a major injury at his age...
