'Save Your Love' is so funny, I enjoy singing along to it with the kids in the kitchen but what gets me is in the video you never so a close-up of the the bird's face, it looks more like a bloke in drag.

How the HECK is Total Eclipse of the Heart down in fifth place?! This is an 80's poll...TEOTH is as brilliantly 80's as it gets. It's bonkers. An epic, over blown, over wrought, overly emotional soft rock power ballad sung by a bouffantly mulleted gravelly voiced welsh female vocalist. And the video...oh my god, the video!

It will be an absolute tragedy if this piece of musical and visual madness - the apotheosis of 80s-ness goes out in the opening round. A farce and a massive slap in the face to the entire concept of the decade.

Save this competition. Save the decade. Save Total Eclipse of the Heart.

Deceptively tough group and Tyler's looking at a straight red.

And the music spins round and round. 1982 pop pickers and Rain Restaurant (now Buddies). DJ 6 nights a week plus the occasional Sunday 'Pink' night. Met George Michael & Andrew Ridgley well before they were famous in '82
