Newcastle were still Championship when they put up about manager buying players.

No, I think the original poster is referring to the strap-line that runs with the heading of:*"Premier League", "Championship", "Golf", "Rugby Union", etc. The "ticker" is the small band that runs at along at the very bottom of the screen and often contains the breaking news.

As for the answer to actual question, I am guessing they will wait until the fixtures come out and then update accordingly...Much like when we will appear on the Premier League section of the BBC Football website...
