Where is 2.5 - 3M per home game mentioned? Are you talking about the stated figure of 25-30K per minute of advertising? If so, presumably that refers to a payment of 25-30K for a minute's worth of advertising at every home game across the season. Bozza briefly mentioned a figure of 55K for new advertisers in another thread (but old advertisers pay the old price). Therefore you are looking at under 5 million over the course of the season.

Yep, this.

I would guess it might be more depending on whether (or how many countries) it's on telly?

The global coverage is ridiculous - you only have to look at the schedules. Outside of the UK, it's harder to find a country where virtually EVERY game isn't available (as long you have a subscription, obviously). Reported average viewer numbers are over 12 million per game.

The thing to always keep in mind is that it just still going to football. It's still just watching the Albion. Same people around you most games in the main. Same stalwart sponsors.

Only the outside world's perception changed. And that changed overnight out of all recognition.

We all need to remember that when we can't get in Dick's Bar or the club shop because it's rammed with Asian tourists...........:D

If the pitchside led space is worth £30k of income per MINUTE, then added time becomes very valuable.

Our star striker will just need to fake a 2 minute injury (worthy of a stoppage) each home game, to offset his wages for that whole week  #winning

Can we at least now ditch that moronic Riverdale ad where even featured celebrity Bradley Walsh can't help but burst into laughter at the sheer crappiness of it all?

I may be wrong, but wasn't that an outtake? Although if not, I'm not surprised - after all they had Jack the Lad as a guest at their showroom opening - talk about lower the tone from prestige to gutter in10 long, long minutes!

And the ticket cost (per game!)
