Its good news for Europe, and bad news for us.
Most of our top politicians in Labour, Tory and Lib Dems are moderate and arguably progressive to a certain degree. It's a by-product of FPTP but there's very little room for extremists in mainstream British politics.
Too many British voters got taken in by headline-chasing cheapskate populists, relatively few French voters did. This will make NSC's angry Brexiteers very happy. And England a poorer place.
Cheers for that presumption. I'm proud to be a Brexiteer and also very happy that Le Pen didn't win. It looks like no side has a monopoly when it comes to crass generalisations.
Career establishment politician who will change little, beats the fascist. The lesser of two evils. In their divided nation, Macron will be a mocked figure in four years time, for talking the talk.
I don't know who you and the other 52% think you are?

I think they are called the majority?Maybe we all have different political views and different reasons for voting for Brexit. Far easier to lump us all together and call us racist though.
Le Pen was never going to win. France's EU status was always secure.
That's true actually and unpopular/crooked MP's can get booted out by their local electorate such as Neil Hamilton. Other systems do allow unpopular figures to creep into Parliaments under the radar.
