That Ireland squad has reminded me of the "Brighton Reject" chant we used to do...

Did actually see some interesting cricket yesterday afternoon - (free) Sky mix was showing Windies Pakistan. Watched the end of the Pak second inns as Shannon Gabriel absolutely TORE through them (5-11!) to square the series.

That's a decent series, I hadn't realised it was on a free channel. I'll try to catch the next one, it's Misbah and Younis's last game so I hope they go out in some style. Like to see Misbah get his ton, he's put Pakistan cricket back on its feet. And after two 99s in successive tests, he deserves a century

I see Kent are chugging along at six an over against Sussex ... and Stevens hasn't batted yet.

Reckon we'll be chasing around 350 again ... is there rain forecast?

In other news, Sussex have Kent two down already. Get Bell-Drummond sooner rather than later and the in-form Sharks' batting line-up will be confident of chasing down another victory in this competition...

Did actually see some interesting cricket yesterday afternoon -

The IPL T20 yesterday between Delhi Daredevils and Gujarati Lions wasgood as featured 3rd highest scoring innings in that league ever. A 19 year old Delhi batsman called Pant got 98, including 9 x 6s and 6x 4s, which caused my 7 year old son to say "Pant's on fire". Was some great cricket to watch.

Great umpiring there.

Never out. Turning ball. Big stride forward. Possible inside edge. Hitting above the knee-roll.

Oh... hold on....
