Very random request-inline skating wheels

Okay. My Burton snowboard bag has inline skate wheels at one end. One has broken and I want it, or both, replaced. Ive emailed Burton who have a pretty good after-sales service but they cannot help as they have now discontinued inline wheels and use skateboard wheels. I've also been to a few shops over here but for various reasons it's not worked out; whilst the wheel is the same the mount/axle/pin they use is different to the regular inline mount. The language is also tricky. I don't want to throw the bag away and buy a new one so as it's such a waste.....can anyone help?

I will mailshot a few UK shops but before, I thought I'd post on here as NSC can usually come up trumps.

The unit which houses the wheels bolts onto the bag so I can just provide you with the unit.

Thanks in advance.

Is a specialist skate shop what you are looking for? There is still one on the seafront in Worthing (I think) which did repairs to skates so should be able to provide a new wheel or pair of wheels. I would assume there is somewhere similar in Brighton or even Birmingham where you are next weekend.

Not really. Locating a shop isn't the issue. And the wheels themselves isn't the issue, it's the fitting. But also someone who is willing to be challenged and/or put some effort in to try and fit the thing. It's not the usual simple attachment for a skate, and will require someone to go non-standard and knock a pin out and knock a pin back in do something to secure it. Nah, don't have the right tools is the usual response I get here. I'm also thinking someone who can weld might think "Hey, if he gets me the bits I'll fit them" will see this and get in touch.

In thata case, your best bet is to buy a new pair of wheels and then go to a proper old fashioned cobbler who would help with this sort of thing (not Timpsons!).
