They've had a bad season. Paid £21.50 for the EFL rights and Newcastle ran away with the Championship with two games to spare.
They set up the last day of the league to be exciting, sending the underdogs to favorites Villa.

Here are the games, pick two for TV and then a splash headline to get viewers tuning in.
Aston Villa V Brighton & Hove Albion Nothing to see here
Brentford V Blackburn Rovers Watch Rovers go done?
Bristol City V Birmingham City Watch Harry go down?
Burton Albion V Reading Stay in the pub
Huddersfield Town V Cardiff City Why?
Newcastle United V Barnsley What went wrong?
Norwich City V Queens Park Rangers Live from Gatwick airport departure lounge
Nottingham Forest V Ipswich Town Can Forest stay up?
Rotherham United V Derby County Really?
Sheffield Wednesday V Fulham Both playing reserve teams
Wigan Athletic V Leeds United The big game I reckon
Wolverhampton Wanderers V Preston North End Live from Majorca

Don't they show 2 live games on the last fixture round. So they can show the champions game and then have a lottery for the 2nd game

Yep loads of games to pick from, this thread massively backfired! Also if it wasn't for Sky the vast majority of Brighton fans who weren't lucky enough to get tickets to the away games shown on Sky TV this season including Villa next week would not be able to watch the Albion live...

Great thread, backfired on you big time.

Yeh, I was a bit early with that. It's down to
Aston Villa V Brighton & Hove Albion For the title
Brentford V Blackburn Rovers Watch Rovers go done?
Bristol City V Birmingham City Watch Harry go down?
Newcastle United V Barnsley For the title
Nottingham Forest V Ipswich Town Can Forest stay up?

So, Live from Villa but switch to St James (which would annoy the Amex crowd if they have the Sky feed on).
Game two live from Forest switching between the three relegation games.
If I was a neutral that relegation scrap looks like it could go to the 90th minute with Blackburn & Forest split by one goal. Remind you of something?

One fly in the ointment is Liverpool vs Southampton kicking off at 1.30 live on Sky Sports 1.

Who scheduled that to clash with end of the Championship games?

Could cause issues for anyone watching in a pub outside Brighton/Sussex.

The obvious is both Newcastle and Brighton games as 1 will win the title but both have been shown a lot sk they could go for a rekegation game. I dont care as I will be in my ST seat for the beamback.

Unless they put the Championship game on SS2 or SS3?

Pretty sure it's going to be the Forest game, or possibly Blackburn. Then maybe Newcastle. To be fair, they might think they've shown our last two games in anticipation of us possibly lifting the trophy, and it'd be unusual to get three televised games in a row (especially for effectively the same reason).

Still, I live in hope that I can make up some fake meeting reason to leave the office early and watch us!!
