Comments below this one are funny. Lots still thinking they might go down

Also shows the effect of promotion in this one despite playing in a League 2 ground!

They really did throw a lot of money around during their promotions season. I knew they posted big losses but £39m! Their FFP fine of £7.6m was fairly irrelevant in the context of promotion.

Well, he is, really isn't he? Like Lawrensen, Townsend and Tony Grealish.

Hughton was born in Forest Gate, London. He is clearly English.

For many, playing for an International team based on family connections is a matter of convenience. And playing football for the Ireland International team has not made Hughton an Irishman.

      I love the last line:-

"The club is working to identify a new site for its stadium and it is our ambition that a new stadium would be built in time for the start of the 2020/21 season."

So although they currently don't know where, the new stadium will be built in 3 seasons.

They won't go down and I hope we have as much entertainment at the Amex next season as they seem to have had at whatever their stadium is called these days. They have had some epic games there this season I believe?

Sven and Capello were England managers, but not English managers. Same would apply to Hughton if he ever got the job.

Yes, I know, and basically I agree with you, but any chance to have a pop at smug Eddie......................... .........

Surely there is enough room around their current stadium to build an AMEX size stadium? Ground share at Southampton whilst they do it?
