Division 3 South.

Only one team promoted.

The best team Brighton had ever had.

The Albion had never in their history won promotion.

Goldstone had no floodlights.

Game k.o. time early evening (before darkness).

Glorious Spring evening.

At fourteen, I was tall enough to see most of the game in the swaying East Terrace crush.

Feel the emotion by just reading report. (Thanks to the Goldstone Wrap.)

Wow!! - am I wishing for too much today?

Great posting. But you've started me off now meandering along memory lane. 1964-65 season (I was 10). I think I was there and I think it (the last home game) was against Darlington. Am happy to be corrected on the latter but still insist that I was 'there'.
