Yes it's that time of year again and now the Albion are all but there, I felt I could devote some time to the NHL.

As you probably all know by now the top three of each division qualify along with the two highest placed finishers regardless of what division they are in.
So at the end of regular season this is what we have:

Eastern Conference

Atlantic Division

1. Montreal
2. Ottawa
3. Boston
4. Toronto

Metropolitan Division

1. Washington
2. Pittsburgh
3. Columbus
4. NY Rangers

Western Conference

Central Division

1. Chicago
2. Minnesota
3. St Louis
4. Nashville

Pacific Division

1. Anaheim
2. Edmonton
3. San Jose
4. Calgary

!968 since they won. It's all rather tortuous for Ontarians, still have the most Stanley Cup wins in history but none in nearly 50 years. Where's Gretsky when you need him?

Go Leafs Go!

Bloody JCLs... How many times have I said this to you now? :lolol:

:lolol:

I did go to a MARLIES game on Sunday. They are also in the playoffs. Supporting lower league hockey, like a proper fan.*

* Nothing to do with the tickets being much cheaper.

Is the NHL more international than English football? I see a great quantity of Canadians but also many northern Europeans.

Go Rangers! Will try and make some of the early playoff games at MSG when ticket prices are reasonable.

Beat the Penguins 3-2 Sunday. Game 1 tomorrow away at the Canadiens.

I think the Stanley Cup is one of the toughest sporting competitions

Rangers continue their run as best road team in the NHL with an away win against the Canadiens in Game 1. They won 2-0 with the second goal a minute from the end. Good start - lets win the second game at the Bell Center on Friday

Just woken up to this.

Tanner Glass scored with a backhand? I had to do a double take...

Amazing times.
