It was a nervy ending but we didn't do bad considering we are playing our 4th & 5th choice centre back and 2 full backs coming back from injury

can you imagine how tough this must be for Huddersfield, they get close we pull away, they get closer we pulled further away. There must surely come a point when their spirit fades?

This time tomorrow it could be Newcastle that Huddersfield are chasing.
9 points in a week after dipping quite far into our squad is massive.

10 points from 5 games (including two home games against teams in relegation trouble) and we are up. Actually, it's only 9 points if you assume the GD won't be overhauled. And all of that assumes Huddersfield win ALL seven remaining games, including a resurgent Derby and a resurgent PNE.

If I was bookie, I'd stop taking bets on an Albion promotion.

We've done it, not mathematically of course, but we now all surely realise there's no way Huddersfield or the others will bridge the gap.

After all the years of hurt and the ground theft, it's the Albion's year. The wait since 1983 is coming to an end.

The strategic planning of TB and PB, the appointment of the brilliant CH so suited to our club, and the great squad of players.
