I thought he was alright for us actually. Got a few goals if I recall, one against Derby in the Play Offs as well I think.
Not sure if he's a 100K pw player though,

In the championship I think he struggled with the physical side of things.
Even now I wouldn't want him back.
You get more space in the Premier League, which suits his game I think.
So may be I'd want him back next season.
He would struggle to get into the other top 6 squads

I really can't understand the instant animosity when someone does well, he was a good player for us, fair play for getting a pay rise but lets not forget it's probably only average wages in the premier league for the so called elite clubs.
