I can't get a ticket for he Bristol city match when I was hoping to stay in Brighton. Instead I'm now hoping to get to the Wigan game. However three of us will need to travel to and from Liverpool by train the same day. I can see that the Victoria underground line will be closed that day, but I think we can still get round the underground network in reasonable time. However what are the risks of problems on Southern Rail? We would need to make the last train from Euston to Liverpool. Any advice appreciated

surprised the Vic is closed on a Saturady evening (you sure?), however you can avoid that problem by travel to St Pancras, its about 10 minute walk from Euston along Euston road. that means changing at East Croydon or getting a Thameslink from Brighton. no planned action at the moment (who knows though...)
