many turn up their nose and its been a while, but i always found the Font and Firkin good atmosphere for football, its basically a terrace with lots of beery people cheering and shouting, which is what you want right?

I can imagine The Font to be a great place to watch a football match actually :)
Not been there in ages. Has it changed then pearl ?

Just to make sure it's the right F & F, the one near the Bath Arms has changed, used to be a great pub, more of a plastic wine bar last time I went in and walked out again (about 6 weeks ago)

The lager in the Font has tasted like absolute piss the last two times I have been in there. Went through three different draughts with the exact same chemical taste. Not cleaning their pipes properly methinks.
