Saw her last night in Glasgow and, with her full band, she was spectacular. Well worth a listen to her full back catalogue and the new CD. A great songwriter and singer. She is playing in Brighton next Monday and I strongly recommend you get down and see her. You will be entertained.

Just added her latest to Spotify ready for listen whilst i work tomorrow.

I commend to your attention the new Rhiannon Giddens album as well. Preferable to Ed "I can write mediocre songs in a diversity of styles" Sheeran.

Will do. I have to say I hate the sound that Ed Sheeran makes...talentless oik in my book...


I also like a new emerging lass from Copenhagen called Ida Wenoe (with a line through the o)

New CD (debut) out on 7th April but her live track 'Curtains' which is on You Tube , is very appealing.
