As per the title, the folks at Football Manager ran a simulation (well, 10 simulations actually), of this season's Championship run-in.

Not scientific of course, but will be interesting to see how the real thing compares to what any of the simulations came up with.

As soon as I saw that in a couple of scenarios that Norwich had made the play offs I immediately stole a line from Donald Trump and said ''Fake News''



Let the lads play the matches on the pitch and just enjoy the excitement of the run in - That's why I enjoy the football. I get so many highs and lows from it.

Tough to argue with:-

On the two occasions that Brighton fell out of the top two, the Seagulls failed to make it through the play-offs to win a place in the English topflight.
