Wow! Six reserve team players were given a day off without informing the FA. Must have been awash with drugs then................! Demote City to the National League at once!

I know it is important that sportsmen and women don't gain advantages by using drugs, but this all sounds like bureaucracy gone mad.

Six Team Sky riders are not where they are supposed to be on the day of a drugs test. What would the reaction be then?

Six athletes who train with Mo Farah are not where they are supposed to be on the same day? Same thing.

We all know the reaction would be different. Look up Operation Puerto, look at what has gone on in Spain with cover ups of footballers and tennis players doping. Then tell me this is bureaucracy gone mad. Footballers are athletes, they should be held to the same standards as all other athletes. It is that simple.

Northern Hemisphere.
Professional athletes are all on drugs nowadays.

Antony Joshua is a walking PED. As too is Tyson Fury.

Wouldn't surprise me if most of football is taking them these days.

When everybody has to inform officialdom of exactly where they're going to be, at exactly what time, it's not sport any more.
