I think Newcastle should be more worried about their teams form, not who is officiating their next match???.
I couldn't see us getting all worked over a premier league referee being drafted in for a season defining game

A win for us is a fantastic result for Huddersfield - if Huddersfield then beat Newcastle.

If this was followed to its logical conclusion no referee would be permitted to be in charge of any game in the same division or competition that the team they support is in.

Maybe a chant if there's only one Richard Madely when he awards us a 1st minute penalty and red cards their keeper

No. The main 3 teams interested in this result are Huddersfield and the two team playing. A ref supporting any other club would more suitable.

Gonna be cards galore. Madley averages just over four yellows a game. Sent off three this year, and given eight penalties from 23 games. Dunk will need to stay on his feet, and keep calm.

Just read the article, so a draw it is then.
Didn't see any Brighton supporting refs in that list..............no taste.

hopefully Murray will have the word in the ear of Shelvey like he did with Pritchard, and Sidwell will do the sly little punches to the back of the head like he did to Kermogant, and Shelvey will get a red. In all fairness to him - and I was one of his biggest critics last season - Dunk seems to have got his head more sorted out this season. and let's not forget that Shelvey is a racist little s**t

think you'll find a ref from Sussex reffed Huddersfield at the weekend...swings and roundabouts........like the Dorset one we had for both B'mouth games two seasons ago.

Why would a Leeds supporting ref be acceptable, given that we play Leeds shortly.Straight red to Dunk for violent conduct 3 game ban but as sent off already this season ban is increased and therefore he misses Leeds game.

If you are concerned about being above reproach then the Leeds supporting referee would not be allowed to referee the game

If the decision was not correct, we'd appeal it, so he wouldn't miss the Leeds game. The stakes between the top 3 clubs are somewhat higher right now.

We worry too much about referees - the guy on Saturday had given over a hundred yellows and ten reds but hardly looked like doing anything and the three yellows were all justified.
