A very odd article - jumps around a lot, and was it written by a Palace fan?

And who's Jacob Murphy?

Here's mud in your face Southern rail.....

Acoustics in the Amex create a thunderous atmosphere and, by next season, Southern Rail might even be bothering to run some trains to take fans home from Falmer after the final whistle. :lolol:

"Four years ago, they were caught short by arch-rivals Crystal Palace in the play-offs, and the inquest included a fragrant whodunnit after a calling card was left in the visitors' dressing room at the Amex.

Now Chris Hughton's front runners face another acid test of their rectal fortitude."

Jacob Kai Murphy (born 24 February 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Norwich City.[2] He made his professional début in an FA Cup match against Fulham in January 2014. He has also played on loan for Swindon Town and Southend United. He is the twin brother of professional footballer Josh Murphy.

Apart from that...

Jacob Murphy is a lad that CH brought through the Youth ranks at Norwich

He is not even Jamie Murphy..........That picture is not even Jamie Murphy

Murphy's and Duffy's - Own Irish bars around the world

It was probably a Sudoko or a ''spot the link to get to the answer''. Either that or the journalist doesn't know **** all about football

Like the piece, but not most of the photo captions. The first one suggests we have bottled it in previous seasons, the second shows a grinning Zaha "confirming Palaces place above Brighton in the pecking order", the third tells us Bruno is celebrating with a black short arse Norwich Midfielder that looks suspiciously like our 6 foot four Irishman. The fourth is spot on.

I think that describing the work-experience kids who put the Mirror website together as'journalists' is pushing it. Mike Walters, on the other hand, knows more about football than most people on here know about the way the media work.

The end result should be a factual accurate piece to be read by the readers. If the person writing the article can't be arsed to proof read an article he is putting out in his name in a National Newspaper - Is either lazy if he didn't recognise the error OR lacking knowledge if he didn't recognise the player. It shouldn't be up to the reader to try and work out which.

The writer does not choose pictures or write captions. Those are the jobs of sub-editors on newspapers and the online desk on websites. Mike Walters will have filed his copy and then it's out of his hands - and nobody is more annoyed than a writer about inaccuracies. As it happens, the page in the Mirror is accompanied only by a photo of Bruno himself, correctly captioned. Newspaper websites, regrettably, are usually in the hands of less capable, less knowledgeable and less careful people.
