In my opinion the best three games would be Blackburn(h) Birmingham(h) QPR(a). Four bookings in the next seven gets these. The worst would be any combination involving Derby(h) Leeds(a) but I think these come too soon as it would require four yellows in the next 4/5 games, some going even for him.
The more likely are Wolves(a) Wigan(h) Norwich(a) but worse than this are the final three, Norwich(a) Bristol C(h) Villa (a). Of course he could save them up for the play-offs!!
Perhaps though, with Goldson out, there is a more pertinent question. Who replaces him in the centre of defence? For his omission is , without doubt , the greatest threat to our promotion hopes.
