Following on from the famous "Surely Palace Can't 16/17" and our own "Teams that Can't Catch US 16/17", I thought it might be fun to have a gimp tracker. Just so there is in official date when their hope of a charge to European qualification glory is over.

So here go.

As of today they have 19 points
They have a maximum of 39 points to play for in their remaining 13 games.
This gives them a maximum total number of achievable points of 58

Chelsea have 59 points today.

Sorry to say that top spot is unreachable, no fairy story like Leicester.

Still hope for one of the Champions League places though.

We all know that it is not going to happen, but I thought I would revisit this with the gimps having to play 8 more times this season.

Current points = 31
Maximum points available = 24
Max points total = 55

They definitely cannot catch:
Chelsea
Spurs
Manchester City
Liverpool

If Arsenal beat them then they, Arsenal and Man Utd are safe from the Palace charge and the dream of Europe will have to wait until next year, unless of course Man Utd win the UEFA cup, or whatever it is called.
