How do you know the club have organised this banner? It may of been fans who have organised it and designed it and got permission to put it up.

The alternative could be Cardiff's 'home' ground.
I was there for free scarf night and counted 13 flags and banners that were representations of the Malaysian flag.
Along with 2 Welsh dragons.

Assuming this has been paid for by fans - does anyone know by whom? Was it via a collection or by an individual....?
Anyone else planning a giant banner (e.g. a Chris Hughton one) would do better to have a competition on here to find the best and most popular design.
Bozza - is that something you could organise? A giant Chris Hughton banner that comes from NSC - designed, chosen, paid for, etc Sorry to be off the pace but is there an NSC giant banner at The Amex already? (Is the "Stand or Fall" one from NSC...?)

Oh come come, it's not that bad. It has 2 badges, it's blue and white, it has reference to our beloved chairman and it's BIG. Much better than a Palace or Pompey flag that's for sure.

This has always been the club's position until now. It would seem a strange decision to change that standpoint, when both the SWC & NSK have been raising money from fans to do exactly this & small donations can go a long way.
It would be great to know whether a fan was behind this or not?

Tony Bloom is not sung about enough IMO , he needs a decent song.

Agree with you about a need for a song for Tony.
Also, anyone who goes to away matches by train will know that he's more often than not accompanied by his brother Darren who is as big a Brighton fan as they come. The Adam Virgo interview with Bobby Zamora revealed that it was Darren Bloom who was instrumental in getting Bobby back last year. It's nice to know we're in the safe hands of a family of Brighton fans as passionate about the club as we all are.
