Not unexpected but sad news nonetheless - what a great player he was.
MND is a terrible disease: I lost my mother-in-law to it and it's awful to see what it does to a human being.

I remember seeing him first interviewed about it on Supersport when I still lived down in that part of the world just over 5 years back. He had a long, brave fight against it. RIP.

Very Sad, my mum had MND and the last 5 years of her life were very difficult for us all, such a nasty disease.

Special mention to the North Sussex branch of the MND society who provided so much support.....

Very sad, a player who was quite possibly the best in the world in his heyday and a joy to watch. Shocking news, I had no idea that he had MND
