Did this last year, some people got it and some didn't.
Personally I don't get all the hype of this 'sport' unless you live in America of course.

Fire away Super Bowl haters :cheery:

My mother was born in Pittsburgh and I played in British American football.

It's not a game I was drawn to until in my 30s but it's not everyone's cup of tea mostly because they don't understand the rules.

Yep, count me in big style. Only criticism is that it's not not bothered enough!

Didn't even realise the Super Bowl was on... American football is just Rugby with helmets and a lot of extra padding ;)

Depends on the Super Bowl. If it is some Burmese prawn noodle dish I am very interested.

100% with you on this. Talking to a colleague in the states today

'Hey, did you see what the Patriots did ?'

'No'

The Good Dr would've been proud of me.

Your colleague probably thinks everyone in England also is interested in this game.

Very perceptive....he simply can't understand that most of us give not a sh i t.

'You mean you actually didn't watch the football game ?'

'Well I watched A football game, but the players had no padding or helmets and it didn't last 4 hours for 2 minutes of action"

I'm glad I'm English :)

It's the game you watch if you want to see real men playing sport rather than girly men who fall over after a little bump and writhe around on the ground like they have been shot even if nobody touched them.

All about options.

Too long winded a game to hold my interest with too many stops and starts.
Probably a diversion for the American people from Trumpton.

I would have thought Aussie 'No' Rules was the real men's game. Too much padding in the American version and way too many referees, which is why each game lasts 4 weeks.

Surprised they haven't already introduced drone refs to spot more infractions and make the games last even longer.

It's not a patch on cheese rolling either. Now there's a man's game.
