Ok we lost last night but looking at this I feel we have a lot to be upbeat about . Top of the league , five points and a game in hand over nearest rivals for automatic promotion. Lets look at last night as a blip in our promotion season !!!

I think we are fine but will need to get back to basics away from home and perhaps play a little more defensively.

Can't see many teams beating us at home.

Curious why you pasted the whole table down to 21st but omitted Blackburn, Wigan and Rotherham.

Are these the only two teams you don't currently consider being a credible threat to our promotion prospects?

Purely because my pasting/computer skills are those of a ..:dunce::dunce:

that's blind optimism, last nights result has been coming. 3 losses in the last 3 away games (inc Lincoln), we werent just beat we were taken apart. weve been lucky in quite a few games that we've just edged, Wed at home, Brum away both Fulham games etc maybe without Baldock its naive to go 442 away with Hemed and Murray? Most fans before half time could see the problems on NSC and were suggesting 451 and pack the midfield.

I trust Hughton to make the correct analysis, bit this result wouldve been better in mid Jan before the window closed, against lincoln and again last night with no Stephens or Baldock we looked awful and lightweight.

Robbie Keane can play that Baldock role if his legs are up to it?
