Vibe and Canos will fancy having a go at those 2 CBS.! Just hope the midfield offer some protection and we dont pass the ball like we did tonight!

Problem is skalak is to slow to get forward and we lose a winger....I would start march instead and at least he stays on his feet:lolol:

Stephens will be out for at least a couple of weeks judging by howlong 'minor' injuries last at this club. Baldock I'm less certain on but reckon CH will only risk him for the bench.

I would expect

Stockdale
Bruno Duffy Goldson Pocognoli
Knockaert Stephens sidwell Skalak
Murray Hemed

However I would prefer

Stockdale
Bruno Duffy Hunemeier Pocognoli
Knockaert Stephens Sidwell March
Akpom Murray

All this assumes that Stephens is fit and Baldock and Rosenior are not

I think there are a few key things that need to be considered for the team on Sunday. Duffy was probably our standout player last night I thought, so play him in his favoured CB spot. Goldson and Duffy were poor against Preston, Hünemeier was on the bench last night so I'm presuming he is currently '3rd choice' and will slot in.

For the rest of the team, I think I would favour playing a 3 man midfield, especially if Stephens isn't avaliable. We have conceeded the first goal in far to many away matches recently, Hudders, Preston, Fulham, Brum... Brentford will be full of confidence after beating Villa 3-0 and have had 2 extra days rest so we could really do without giving them the initiative. I would favour keeping it tight and staying compact then use the likes of March, Akpom et al to inject a bit of pace around the 60/65 minute mark.

I'd go with

Stockdale

Bruno
Duffy
Hünemeier
Pocognoli

Knockaert
Kayal
Norwood
Sidwell
Skalak

Murray

Subs: Walton, Tomori, Goldson, Towell, March, Akpom, Murphy

I'm presuming that Baldock, Bong and Stephens all won't be fit.
