Glenn Murray League Goals Thread

Obviously, with Glenn coming home permanantly today it's great news for us and another sickener for our franchise friends up the road (just like it was for us with every goal he scored for them!). So, in the season that Palace got luckily promoted, Glenn scored 21 league goals from open play (plus 9 pens in a freakishly high season of spot kicks won - cough Zaha cough).

This season Glenn has scored 14 League goals (plus 2 pens v QPR & Leeds) - He needs 7 more to equal his tally for 'them' from open play (pens obviously don't count) Let's hope he can do this and beat that record for 'them'. So I'm going to update this thread each time he does :)
Just a bit of fun :)

:bhasign:

(Franchise fans pls note this is not a thread about you or your club - it's about BHA player Glenn Murray, so please don't post as we don't want the thread to be thrown off topic )

Bad news, we all seem to have forgotten that Glenn only gives a shit when he is looking for a new contract, should have signed him at the end of the season.

Seriously though, I reckon he's gonna smash that record of 21

The best bit about yesterday wasn't the header. It was that he looked thoroughly peed off at being left on the bench.

Saw him after the game - he seemed alright. Didn't smile in our selfie though, but that's expected.

We must have had about seven already this year.

Yeh we've had a fair few now. Nowhere near the amount palace for she year though - it was a ridiculous number.

They had 14 that season. So there probably won't be a lot of difference.

The main thing for this thread, though, is that Murray isn't our designated penalty taker.

It should be close. Hemed being in form means he isn't guaranteed starts at present. For me Baldock is the first name down as his support act seems to bring out the best in both of them.

I wonder when the last time we had three recognised strikers score in the same match was. If the Arsenal lad had tucked his away at the end yesterday it would have been four.

And thus why zaha is so important to them, he's over rated as a player, but an expert at cheating with dives that result in pens and free kicks, and whether on the field or off the field financially with creditors, they love a good cheat in SE25

Yep. Hope to see you on here again late on Tuesday night, oh Saturday evening would be good too. Then you can have a week off if you like, ready to post again on the evenings of Saturday 26th, and Tuesday 28th.
