Right, here we go. The first match off the second round. This is where things start to get serious. Two beasts, 48 hours, one vote, one winner.

Honey Badger, predictably, smashed his qualifying group garnering a whopping 44 votes, accounting for one third of all votes cast in the group. Why? Because he's very well designed for this competition. Small, muscular, powerful he lives in a habitat infested with bigger beasts, poisonous beasts and deadly killers and more than holds his own against them all. Will fight anything.

I'm not sure we really need to think too seriously on this one. Perhaps the Seagull can muster an upset on account of a bobbly pitch. Is the Honey Badger fielding an under strength runt for this tie?

Back in the day every WHC thread harvested page after page of responses. Lucky this is the last ever WHC because much like the FA Cup it appears to be a competition that is dying on its arse.
