No doubt if we'd have beaten Lincoln and been drawn away to Man Utd we'd have taken a blue & white army of 6,000+ to old Trafford
Next month we play Barnsley away on the same day of Fa cup 5th round, most of us didn't want to progress in cup and would never have won it but would still have taken 6,000 to a big tie game
So if our real cup final is reaching the prem how about we take full allocation 4,000+(Instead of only taking around 1,600) if given by Barnsley, and make oakwell sound like a home game
Come on ladies and gentleman boys & girls a CALL TO ARMS!!!!
Barnsley tickets go on sale this week, lets SELL SELL SELL!!!!

Just a suggestion

I appreciate that but if we were playing Man Utd in cup regardless of how skint people were we'd still take over 6,000

But for some a trip to Old Trafford would be magical for them and any football mad kids they might have.

Going to Oakwell is not quite the same, unless it was a promotion or Championship winning match at stake!

Thinks this more like it

No one has mentioned Sky yet. Are there PL games that week?

EDIT
Newcastle V Villa on the Monday 20th but no other games that weekend. Can Sky show football up against the FA Cup? Think I'll start a new thread.

How do you know we would never have won it? Palace got to the final last year, are they really that much better than us? Apparently yes.

Quite depressing on here today with people actually glad that we're out.

The North Stand holds 6k. You can still get up there and back fairly cheaply.

People probably saving themselves for the Brentford beam back though :facepalm:

Blimey, im only trying to rally up a bit of support, amazing how people on this forum find weird angles on such a simple post of support for the club,

Really, so what is your priority this season ?
Promotion obviously, but the view that a Cup run automatically, and I mean automatically, must detract from League form in the same way that night follows day is ... well I'll just say it's not a given and that anyone who believes it doesn't really understand football. If we'd have won yesterday we'd only have had another handful of games maximum in the Cup in order to win it. We've still got nearly TWENTY League games left. Lincoln have already played more Cup games then we would have to, all their League rivals have been knocked out - and in apparent defiance of all universal laws they're STILL top.

Anybody remotely pleased about yesterday's result is not a true Brighton fan, and I don't care how old you are or how many years you've been a STH. Yes we can now 'concentrate on the League' (which has always been the Losers' mantra). Whoopi do.
