WHC X: LIVE second round draw

Welcome Ladies and Gents, to the live draw for the World's Hardest Creature X second round. Sixteen combatants will be facing off in 8 head to head match ups, lasting 48 hours each. The first four will be played from Monday to Wednesday of next week, while the second four match ups will take place from Wednesday to Friday. No beast can be drawn against a beast from their qualifying group.

The beast numbers for the draw are:

2 - Tarantula Hawk
3- Hippo
4 - Chinstrap Penguin
5 - Jaguar
6 - Alligator Snapping Turtle
7 - Seagull
8 - Cassowary
9 - Grasshopper Mouse

13 - Salt Water Crocodile
14 - Siberian Tiger

16 - Bullet Ant

First out of the hat is no 5.

That's the Jaguar who has made a fine start to his WHC career, winning Group B. He'll be up against....

no 4, thats the Chinstrap Penguin.

Exciting stuff, two debutantes going at it. We're guaranteed a first timer in the quarter finals.

That's the Grasshopper Mouse, he's nicely established as a knock out rounds competitor. Can he go all the way to the final this year?

no 14, the Siberian Tiger, he's had a solid start to WHC X, cruising through ion second place in hios group.

That's Salt Water Croc, five time finalist and winner of WHC VIII and IX, a formidable opponent to say the least.

He'll be going head to head against...

That's the Malayan Sun Bear. Wow! What a heavyweight match up, a severe test for both competitors.

That's the Polar Bear, who has never been defeated in this tournament, but is of course competing for the first time in several years. Will rustiness give his opponent a chance?
