How does renationalise the railway stop strikes !

I'm not sure that was the point. But yes it's something I think about all the time.

They are effectively being run by the Government anyway. It's quite interesting - you never hear the argument the private sector can run them more cheaply anymore.

I know TFL have had their problems with strikes but it's nothing compared to Southern and they over see a complex operation.

I know who I'd rather see run it at the moment even if they effectively contract the service out.

That's what I am saying they could strike whoever runs the railway however I think Governments and councils could change and run this type of business as long as they bring in the right skills sets in to do it.
