1. Yes, I've googled it - seems to be mostly dead ends, or links to dodgy sites/youtube fakes.
2. No, I don't have Eurosport.
3. Is anywhere showing highlights packages?

There are free highlights, albeit brief, on the Eurosport website - http://video.eurosport.co.uk/football/african-cup-of-nations/

I love the AFCON, and have been watching a fair bit of the first few games.

If you haven't time to watch the highlights, I can give you a brief overview of what I've gained so far:

1. African goalkeeping standards are rather MIXED.
2. African strikers practice CELEBRATIONS more conscientiously than shooting.
3. Tackling is fantastic.

I haven't watched any of this tournament so far. I used to especially enjoy the refereeing which appeared to bear little relation to the laws.

4. Wilf Zaha has been without doubt the best player at the tournament, and he hasn't even played a game yet.

So far, I've not seen any of the traditional AFCON 'abstract' refereeing. Plenty of time yet though!

I love the AFCON too. Two of my most memorable moments of living in Botswana are AFCON related:

1. The 2010 AFCON Final Ghana v Egypt - I watched in a bar (I was escorted there) in a very rough area of Gaborone which I wouldn't have been in otherwise. Everyone desperately wanted Ghana to win.
2. About this time 5 years ago when Botswana qualified and played Ghana first up in their group - it was held in Gabon then. The whole of Botswana stopped for the game. Literally. Despite the loss, it was an amazing football experience that day.

I just took out 12 months Europsort player subscription for the bargain price of £20 for the year (offer ends 31st January). I did it for the cycling coverage throughout the year, but have been enjoying live AFCON coverage on there at the moment.

I suppose £20 for all AFCON matches live isn't too bad in terms of value, but if you're at all into cycling, snooker, tennis and winter sports then £20 is an absolute bargain!

I don't pay for any other tv, being on Freesat. I cast Eurosport player up onto the tv using Chromecast and that works flawlessly so far
